Many new cardboard spool adapters are available to choose from. This adapter addresses the need to work with more than one brand. This adapter will work with either Elegoo or Polymaker cardboard spools. 2 rings are suggested. These have only been tested on the new Qidi Box multi-material system with it's drying system. THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED ON ANY OTHER MULTI-MATERIAL SYSTEM. Suggested materials: PETG, PCTG, ABS, ASA, PC, NYLON. If your system has a built-in heater and can dry as high as 50c I strongly suggest printing from ABS or higher heat resistant filament. PETG & PCTG will deform over extended usage above 50C. This adapter has a very thin wall so paying close attention to layer adhesion and warping will give you better results. STL, STEP & Solidworks part file (.sldprt) files are included.
