apprenticees rotate through the specialized departments at our work site. for upper extremity prosthetics they are supposed to build a tiny device themself with plaster model, thermoplastics and fibre-compound socket. formerly the terminal device was just polyurethane poured into a mould. lame, and the mould became worn out.

i like to assemble things that move and they should too. so here's a hand. 

if you like the idea and consider to use it regularly too, this is perfect for almost empty rolls. print without support as it is inbuilt on about 25g. with embedded microfeatures youre good with 3+ walls.

i guess the assembly is pretty much self explanatory. to hold postcards glue a cut rubber mat to the first three fingers. the provided model contains edges to prevent the rubber peeling off on the fingertips. on assembling the thumb use some silicone grease to avoid snapping. rubberband can be replaced with household items if it becomes brittle over time.
