The main idea was to have something able to store long halyard and sail sheets on my sailing boat. I have very old components destroyed by sun and seawater.
Using the model as a basis, I made them bigger and more rigid to cop my needs. This is the first modification made. Diameter is 30mm.
This also allow to use 4mm diameter rope to secure the halyard or the sheet. This is the second modification.
They are screwed into a wall with a 4 mm diameter countersunk screw. This is the third modification I made on the original model.
The length of the rope to use is about 50cm with a figure of eight at each end.
