This is the 3d-printed case for the GB Interceptor. An open source rp2040-based adapter that goes between your (unmodified) Game Boy and the game cartridge to record or stream your gameplay via USB.
To learn what it does and how it works, see https://youtu.be/6mOJtrFnawk
The complete assembly guide (not only the case) can be found at https://github.com/Staacks/gbinterceptor/wiki/Build-guide
For assembly of this case you will also need:
- Three M2.5x4 skrews with a flat head
Three heat-set inserts with the measures M2.5x4x3.5 (that is a M2.5 thread with a length of 4mm and an outer diameter of 3.5mm) Print Settings
Printer Brand:
Anycubic
Printer:
All-metal Mega
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.2mm
Notes:
Slice the STLs in your preferred slicer (I used Cura with 0.2mm layer height). Be aware that the bottom piece requires supports. I printed it with the text "GB Interceptor" facing downwards, which did not exactly result in beautiful results. If you are confident in removing supports you can rotate it such that the supports are on the inside of the cartridge, but I found it too difficult to remove them without damaging the thin walls.
This case requires three heat-set inserts for assembly. Please check the "order and build" video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lg92tVkEE98&t=804s) to see the assembly process.
