Sd.Kfz. 7 German Half Track

This half-track model is very similar to my published model of the Sd.Kfz. 8. That model is approximately 1/45 scale, I used the same basic chassis, so this one is a 1/42 scale. If anyone intends to print both and have them side by side, you would need to print this one at 93% or print the Sd.Kfz. 8 at 107 % for the two to have the appropriate size relationship. Need to print multiples of the side and front storage rack and the front wheels, tires and axles. To assemble, use the photos. Most parts will require trimming. Start by inserting the aft storage rack forward section 1 and side section 2 into the chassis A. Next insert the aft storage rack rear section 3 and the storage rack forward section 4 into the chassis A. Finish the storage rack by installing the rear section 5 and right section 6 into chassis A. Insert steering wheel 7 into chassis A. On the bottom of chassis A, locate the forwardmost installation receptacle and install the plug on the bumper/axle 8 into the hole. On chassis A, locate the next installation receptacle moving aft and install the side steps 9. Install the left fender 10 onto the bumper/axle of the chassis assembly A. Repeat for the other side. At the rear of the chassis A, locate the remaining installation receptacle and install the rear panel/tow hitch 12. Identify the left the track cover by the large sprocket forward. Glue it onto the chassis A. Repeat for the other side. Insert the right side track drive wheels 15 into the right side tracks 16 large sprocket forward. Glue both parts onto the chassis A noting the impression on the track cover as a guide. Repeat for the other side. Install an axle 19 into the forward wheel 20. Install the tire 21 onto the wheel. Repeat for the other wheel/axle/tire. Place a small amount of glue on the tip of the axle and install into the chassis assembly A. Repeat for the other side. Install the windshield 22 onto the chassis A. Install the tow pin 23 into the tow hitch. Updated to add fenders because I forgot them (oops). I added 3 alternate files for use with the towed AT gun. The alternate tow hitch, pin and T bar for the AT gun are a little larger.
