I wanted a cage to screw onto a Ninja blender blade assembly to hold the blades upside down to dry after washing. This model accomplishes that, and also works to safely store the sharp bits.
I used Prusament PETG, Input Shaper 0.6 nozzle, 0.2mm Structural, and 20% infill settings on a XL-5T. It will also print successfully using 0.32mm Structural as well. The interrupted threads are really coarse, so great precision isn’t needed.
The thread ring requires supports; Organic is a good choice. The cage prints without supports.
Assembly with your favorite adhesive is trivial because the cage legs self-align in the thread ring cutouts.
Be sure to scale the print as needed. I used 100.73% for X, Y, and Z.
A STEP file is included in case you want to tweak the design.
