INFO
A quick and easy way to mount your Logitech C270 camera to your enclosure tent. I designed this camera mount to be used with the Aukuoy enclosure from Amazon. It should also work with any other enclosure using rods with an 8mm diameter. The mount slides on the rod and can be tightened down using one or two screws.
REQUIRED HARDWARE
The plastic piece and screw of the original C270 mount
M3 x 5mm(W) x 3mm(L) threaded inserts (x2)
M3 x 6mm screws (x2)
Note: If you want to use only one screw to tighten the mount down then you only require one screw and threaded insert.
ASSEMBLY
Add the threaded insert(s). Wait for them to cool down and then add the screws but don't tighten them.
Mount the camera to the mount using the plastic piece and screw that came with it.
Slide the top corner where you want to mount it off the rod.

Slide the mount with the camera attached to it onto the rod.

Note: The camera is not attached to the mount in this image. This has been done to simplify the modeling process.
Slide the top corner onto the rod again.
Slide the camera down until it sits on the middle connector piece of the top and bottom rod.

Note: The camera is not attached to the mount in this image. This has been done to simplify the modeling process.
Orient the camera to face your target object (3D printer, plant, …).
Tighten down the screw(s) so it can't slide around anymore. Be careful not to overtighten them as these rods aren't very strong.
Plug your camera into whatever device you're using it with and do some cable management. Now you're ready to use it to watch whatever you have in the enclosure.
PRINTING
Print the model standing up (should come in the right orientation).
No supports needed.
Print in a heat resistant material when using it for a 3D printer in the enclosure.
Brim optional
