I wanted a battery mounting solution for our drill batteries in our workshop at work and for personal use at home in my garage. Considering that DIN rails are relatively inexpensive and widely used in a lot of installation applications, it seemed to be a good choice for a universal mounting solution. You will need M3 hardware to assemble the rail mount (QTY 2 Socket Cap Screws @ 35mm & M3 Square Nuts). You will also need M3 hardware to install the battery mounts to the DIN Rail adapters. The lengths may vary slightly across the multiple mounts i've included. I recommend picking up an M3 socket cap kit to find the lengths that best work for you.
This is also a WIP. I have plans to expand on this when I have free time. I want to explore the possibility of a tool mount solution as well, as I think the idea of using a DIN rail for tool management has some merit.
