Originally shared on Thingiverse in 2020, I recently reprinted this model for myself for use with my Insta360 camera in PETG and it has served me well for over a year now
Designed this model by using the free 3d scanned model of the AGV K3SV Helmet as uploaded on grabcad.com by Samesh in May 2020.
For a stronger, slimmer and more permanent mounting option than my previous chin mount; this was designed for daily use and MotoVlogging in mind.
Have tested it and it holds strong. I reinforced the camera mount fingers with a layer of glue and primed/painted in matte black over the original Black PLA.
The back side of the Mount flush fits with the original Helmet design over the chin, only required some Scotch tape or 3M Sticky to adhere to the helmet.
When the camera is mounted in, I can barely see it from the visor so it is not a distraction and the additional weight is negligible.
