A Scaled-Up Confectionery Storage Box
This is a scaled-up version of your favorite confectionery that doubles as a storage box!
The model is made from four unique, snap-together parts:
- Lid
- Thinner Ring (Black)
- Thicker Ring (White)
- Base
All the curves and snap connectors match, so you can mix and match the rings to create your own unique color pattern. Or, stick with the classic look by arranging them black-white-black.
Printing Tips
For the best results, print the rings and base with the wavy edge facing down on the build plate. This will prevent layer lines from showing on the gentle curves. I recommend using supports because the wavy pattern doesn't work well with bridging.
Recommended Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.15mm
- Perimeters: Use extra perimeters on the shells to prevent infill from showing through.
- Infill: 10% is plenty.
- Supports: On, with organic supports on the build plate only.
