This is my final iteration of the Gecko Bookmark. This is a no-slip bookmark that uses angulated contact points to resist slipping out of the book and losing your page.
I fixed the print consistency issue of prior iterations, and the page contact tearing at the very top of the page if the book fell for whatever reason.
I consider this a next generation bookmark inspired by biodesign.
I printed in yellow PLA+ with 0.3mm first layer and 0.15mm layers after, with one perimeter set for external shaping. I enabled extra perimeters if needed, detect bridging parameters, and fill gaps.
For supports - I used organic with 0.3mm top contact Z and 80% x/y separation. The most important thing is to set the first layer expansion to zero. You want minimal support usage needed, and with these settings what is used is very easy to peel off with some tweezers.
