Home automation pill box

This 3D model has been designed to create a pill blister holder box that not only organizes your medications but can also be interfaced with smart home systems.
(For example, I integrated the box with Home Assistant to show on my smartphone how many pills are left; I also set up a reminder within a certain time to take the medication and, when the pills are running out, the system automatically sends an email to my doctor to request the prescription needed for purchase at the pharmacy.)

Blister compatibility: Can hold one or more blisters with maximum dimensions of 13.5 × 6 cm.

Magnetic closure: Uses 7 neodymium steel magnets (Ø5 mm) both to ensure closure and to activate the opening sensor.

Smart integration: Dedicated housing for the Aqara door/window sensor, which detects when the box is opened and enables notifications and automations.
Secondary slot for an optional adhesive circular NTF tag, useful if you want to extend smart monitoring outside the home.

Compact, printable design: Designed to be easily 3D printed without supports, with sturdy walls and a compact form factor.

Questo modello 3D è stato progettato per realizzare una scatolina porta blister di pillole che non solo organizza i farmaci, ma può anche essere interfacciata con sistemi di domotica (Io, ad esempio, tramite Home Assistant ho integrato la scatolina per mostrare sul mio smartphone quante pillole mancano al termine della scatola; ho configurato un promemoria entro una certa ora per assumere i farmaci e, quando stanno per terminare, il sistema invia automaticamente un’email al mio medico per richiedere la ricetta utile all’acquisto in farmacia.)

Compatibilità blister: può ospitare uno o più blister con dimensioni massime di 13,5 × 6 cm.

Chiusura magnetica: utilizza 7 magneti in acciaio al neodimio da 5 mm (sia per garantire la chiusura che per attivare il sensore di apertura).

Integrazione smart: Alloggiamento dedicato al sensore porta/finestra Aqara, che rileva l’apertura della scatola e permette notifiche e automazioni.
Slot secondario per un eventuale tag NTF adesivo circolare utile se si desidera estendere la domotizzazione anche fuori casa.

Design compatto e stampabile: pensato per essere facilmente stampato senza supporti, con pareti robuste e dimensioni ridotte.
