Overview
The MagStow Scrap Bin is a magnetic bin for keeping filament scraps separated by material instead of mixing everything together. I use these for purge lines, brims, failed print fragments, and other printer waste so PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA, and ABS stay organized for future reuse or recycling.
This design uses a screw-on lid with a flexible TPU insert so you can push scraps in without them springing back out. The TPU insert now mounts to the lid, which makes the bin much easier to empty. Just unscrew the lid instead of peeling the gasket off each time.
This listing includes labeled versions for PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA, and ABS, plus a round magnet version. A separate bar magnet version is linked below once published.

Notes:
Print the body in a rigid material and the insert in TPU.
Add a pause or filament change just before the magnet cavities are sealed so magnets can be inserted mid-print.
Keep magnet polarity consistent across bins if you are mounting multiple together.
The updated lid-mounted TPU insert makes the bin easier to empty and reassemble.

Instructions
Slice the model and add a pause just before the magnet cavities are bridged over.
Insert magnets with consistent polarity.
Assemble the TPU insert into the lid.
Screw the lid onto the bin and mount it where you want it.
