This is a decoupling, easily stackable, frame for HDDs. The disk is suspended from the top beams by two straps of tape or some other suitably soft material. The straps are fastened to the disk by normal HDD mounting screws (4 per disk), as you would need for mounting them in a standard 3.5" bay as well. The frames themselves stack on top of each other without additional fixing. They do work, my storage home PC with 8 disks now is almost inaudible.

The front has slots that allow for the mounting of a standard 120mm case fan. I used 35mm M3 screws, the plastic slots are narrow enough that the screws threaded their own way in. This might be trickier with more brittle plastic. The frames are 35mm high, so a stack of four can hold one common 120mm fan.

I printed them in Prusament PETG natural with default settings, 15% infill is sufficient. I optimized the dimensions so that I can fit two side-by-side on my Prusa Core One's printbed. I flip the model so that the top side is on the printbed, this avoids almost all overhangs and prints very nicely.
