Important I do not take responsibility to any possible damage caused by install or use of this part
This is still a work in progress model and I am going to add more photos and links as well as results
This is a ram that i remixed to automate prints. I am still very new to design so forgive me if this is not the best. To get the rest of the files you will have to go to the original post which is linked at the bottom.
In order to automate the prints you could either do it by hand or as i use it octoprint. To do it by hand you would need to edit the gcode in a way that is to long to describe here but if you google print gcode automation you should find a guide I may also link one here. The other method being octoprint which you can set up on a raspberry pi connected to the printer you can also find guides on how to do this online I may also link one here.
Guide to Automate with octoprint
- Set up octoprint on a raspberry pi this is rather easy to do and find guides one how to do it
- once installed go to the interface on another device and go to plugin manager in the settings click ”add more” then search for “continues print” this it the one I use
- the most difficult part off this is writing the custom gcode for the printer to run I recomen using a database like this one be very carfull during this step as it is possible to hurt your printer but the basis you want to code is for the printhead to ram the part off the print bed the code I used is below
M18 ; disable steppers
M104 T0 S0 ; extruder heater off
M140 S0 ; heated bed heater off
M25
G0 X125 Y200 Z200
M190 R33
G0 Z55
G0 Y5 F600
- One important thing to note is to cool down the build plate so the object does not stick as much and falls off easily
I will do my best to monitor this and answer any questions in the comments
Another thing to note is that this has only been lightly tested and I do not know the long term effects of using this so keep that in mind. And I have also only tested the wedge.
This also installs just like the original so just check that post for instructions.

I used ABS so I used a brim but just use whatever other setting you normally use.
NO SUPPORTS or just put them on carefully but it prints ok without them and you can't get them out if its done wrong
