My Dyson V8 battery is running very short. I disassembled it and found 20700 cells inside. The limited availability encouraged me to design a cartridge for 21700 cells – they are widely available.
Note: the conversion requires careful disassembly. I recommend searching YouTube for a video on how to disassemble a Dyson V8 battery. This conversion requires six 21700 cells – I used a Molicel p42b; you can use LG, Sony, or Samsung. It's important that they have a rating above 30A.
The cell welder I used is: ATTEN ST-862D
