Vase Mose Shell Holder
Modeling exercise to create a parametric holder for 25 shells that prints in vase-mode using minimal filament. This remix is designed so that users can easily customize it for their own use cases.
Design
Parameters in the included Fusion file allow the adjustment of shell diameter, unit height, and nozzle size for accuracy. There are also included conversions of popular shotshell gauges to millimeters based on SAAMI standards.
While originally designed for shotshells, the design can be modified to support a wide range of shells and can be used for storage and reloading applications.
Customization
When adjusting parameters make sure:
NozzleDia matches the nozzle size of your printer
Base is a multiple of your layer height
Height can be any measurement that makes sense
Model has only been tested on 12GA shotshells so ShellDia may need some trial and error. Measurements for ShellDia are taken from the crimped end of the shotshell.
