Ergonomic target grips for the ruger mk4.
Best used by people with large-ish hands (size 10 and up) since it adds a fair bit of thickness.
it builds forward, so people with long fingers might find the original trigger too far back.
Print in a flexible material, (TPU) tested with 95a Polyflex.
Mag-release button is an extension that is necessary, print it in a hard plastic, your choice which.
Depending on your printers ability to accurately print tpu, you might need to do some trimming at the bottom “magwell” to make fitting in the “bulbs” of the frame a bit easier.
I left some material there to allow some error, the fit is quite snug.
printed with: Voron 2.4
Material: 95a Polyflex, mag-release in abs.
Layer height: 0.2
4 walls
40% infill produced a slight squish with a firm grip, if you want it stiffer, up it to 60% (i use 60)
(it must be able to flex a little to mount it on the frame)
Add fuzzy skin on outside walls for a lot better look and grip.
Supports on grip:
yes, but only the base, since it isn't completely flat.
Support on mag-release:
Yes, the bottom of the button is slightly concave to keep it centered properly on the original release.
Slapped together by me in blender, so no step-file is available.
The one pictured is version 1.
version 2 has a slightly narrower palmrest.
