The connection wings have been thickened slightly for durability.
This is a replacement headband piece for Astro A40/A50 headsets. It is as dimensional accurate and close to the original part as possible, and includes insets in the body for applying the original cushions.

I originally printed the part standing on end, however due to the slim profile of the piece it flexed and swayed during printing, causing shifting, weakened layers at the top.
I then orientated the part 45 degrees as shown in the screenshot. The extra supports eliminated swaying and the layer direction seemed to give the part less chance of layer de-lamination when flexed.Category: 3D Printing
