This case is designed to fit the button perfectly, with no protruding parts. With the lid removed, connecting the wires is quite easy: before installing the button, thread the wires through the round holes and out through the button hole, solder the wires to the contacts, and install the button in place.
Please note that this model has several variations for wires of different thicknesses: from 4mm to 10mm. For example, if model is for a 4mm wire, round hole will be 4.5mm. For an 8mm wire, round hole will be 8.5mm, and so on.
