I like this toolbox and I've had it a very long time. It's gone on a lot of Lemons races with me. However it does tend to accumulate lots of unsorted junk. Time to convert it to Gridfinity.
The toolbox accommodates 6U heights for every baseplate, including the area under the top cabinet shelf.
The top cabinet needed more fiddling than what I could generate with the Gridfinity generator, so that's completely custom. It needed space for the shelf hinges and the metal tab that locks the drawers when the top is closed. I did not include the tabs to combine the pieces but it fits fairly snug. Installation may require removing the plastic “Husky” logo, but that just pops out.
