Description
This is a DIY analog gaming headset using 38mm drivers, It uses a 3,5 mm TRRS connection to the computer and it has a TRS jack for the microphone, so you can replace the microhone easily. The design makes use of a pair of custom PCBs to increase maintainability on the inside. If you choose to forego the use of the PCBs, you can also solder the wires together instead. It uses magnetically attached AirPod Max pads for their ease of mounting.
Notes
This is currently a work in progress and untested. Everything is still subject to change. Some things will probably change. I still need to get boards made myself. The gerber files have been validated by a friend, but I can't confirm the board designs are good until I have them. I also still need to finish up the manual, although a rough build guide is provided at the moment.
Update 2025-10-09: The initial version had a fitment error with the pads. Uploaded v1.1 to fix that. I also added multiple arch sizes, as 70mm turned out to be much too small for my head. I've also worn a test fit version made out of PETG for about an hour. Comfort seems to be quite good so far. :)
Update 2025-10-09: Made a couple of small corrections to hole sizes.
