In an effort to keep the ps4 pro cool at minimum fan speed, I cut a hole on the top cover and used this grill to prevent accidentally touching the fan. This is not created to prevent dirty air from entering the console. If you are doing this mod, you should be able to clean the console. This mod will reduce temps by 5 degrees and lessen the fan noise and most likely keep the console usable for additional years.
