I designed this filament spool holder so that I could use an additional spool.
In my case, it was a spool of TPU 85A, for which I wanted to bypass the side filament sensor and ensure a more direct filament feed to the print head.
The spool holder can hold a standard 1 kg spool with a maximum width of 80 mm and a diameter of 200 mm.
In addition, two M3 nuts, two washers for M3, and two M3x30mm cylinder head screws are required for mounting on the printer.
For the bolts on which the filament spools are hung, I have designed a simple version and a version with ball bearings. The version with ball bearings requires two ball bearings with an outer diameter of 19 mm, an inner diameter of 10 mm, and a width of 5 mm.
Below is a link to the ball bearings I used:

Assembly:
There are two 3 mm diameter holes on the top of the back of the printer.
Use the screws, nuts, and washers to attach the “base” part to the printer frame through these two holes.
The larger opening of the groove faces upwards.
Next, insert the “arm” part into the “base” part from above and press firmly.
Then thread the “spoolbolt_D19” part through the filament spool hole and press both parts onto the “arm” part from above.
If the 3D print is dimensionally correct, the bolt should be easy to press into the clamps on the arm.
Everything is designed so that it can be easily assembled without putting unnecessary strain on the parts.
To use the version with ball bearings, first press the “bolt_D10” parts into the ball bearings.
Then press the part “spoolbolt_D19_(with_bearings)” onto the parts “bolt_d10”.
Then thread the “spoolbolt_D19_(with_bearings)” part through the filament spool hole and press both parts onto the “arm” part from above.
If the coil holder is no longer needed, simply push the “arm” part out of the “base” part from below.
“arm” and “base” are held together solely by their shape.
I hope this spool holder helps you as much as it helps me.
happy printing
