Hey, just for fun and out of boredom, I'm throwing in a full-fledged Eastern European tombstone, like those used in Poland. The model consists of several elements, without the plaque:
- PB: 215 cm x 15 cm x 5 cm side sill (print two, for left and right sides)
- PF: 120 cm x 25 cm x 5 cm front sill
- PT: 90 cm x 15 cm x 5 cm rear sill Standing elements
- FS: 99 cm x 30 cm x 5 cm standing front
- BS: 205 cm x 30 cm x 5 cm standing side (print two, for left and right sides)
- TS: 89 cm x 30 cm x 5 cm standing rear
For the outer corners of the standing elements, we attach L-shaped corner pieces (10 cm x 5 cm x 30 cm) using silicone or another construction adhesive. Each element has holes that can be filled with a cement-water mix or sand, and the holes can be sealed in any way after filling. The surface of the elements can be sanded or coated with colorful resin, which requires skill but enhances the tombstone’s appeal. Once all elements are printed and processed, they can be glued together with silicone—based on experience, this is a durable and quick bonding method.
The lid measures 110 cm x 193 cm and can be glued to the element called Gradus. The Gradus is attached with silicone to the standing elements, and a base is glued onto it, centered. Both elements can be drilled, but not all the way through—just enough to allow the installation of wires that serve as a reinforcing element for mounting the plaque.
