When I got new silverware (Liberty Tabletop) I found that the width of the handles for most of the pieces were too large for the existing dividers in my dishwasher.
I designed this replacement silverware divider lid for my Samsung dishwasher, model DW80M955US basket part numbers DD82-01112A or DD97-00250B, which has larger holes to fit my new utensils.
The bigger slots along the top are 25mm x 12.4mm and the smaller slots in the bottom section of the lid are 22mm x 10mm. The slots are angled at 22.5 degrees. I use the big ones on top for large forks or knives and the smaller ones for the small forks and the spoons.
Printing
It is important to print this out of a material that can handle high temperatures. I originally printed these out of ABS which worked okay for several months, but eventually began warping under the weight of the silverware during the wash. Currently I have re-printed them out of Prusament PC Blend CF.
The model file includes two support bodies for the pegs that hold the lid into the basket. In the attached render image these are in red. They should easily peel away from the printed lid.
