I bought a Varstrom/Bafang ebike conversion kit from the 'zon and needed the right PAS sensor because my bike has external bottom bracket bearings. The kit came with almost no instructions. The instructions for the PAS magnet ring were "attach to crankset". I tried using zipties but thought a 3d printed bracket would look better and would be more reliable. I'm including my poorly written OpenScad code if you need to resize it. I first printed in TPU but then thought PETG would be better because this thing is being held on by the chainring bolts.
