Honeycomb grid modifier for the Amaran Ace lights. The model uses magnets that snap to the magnets on the Amaran Ace.
I'm including the full Fusion 360 file so you folks can make any modifications they want. The file has parameters for honeycomb size, grid height, and more. Have fun!
Printing Instructions
- Black Filament
- I used fuzzy skin with black PETG on mine and it looks great.
- No supports are needed
- No rafts, or brims
I uploaded a PrusaSlicer project with the settings I used. The project includes a magnet size test so you can make sure the magnets you have will fit in the slot. It also includes a pause in the print to drop the magnets into the slots.
The pause should be added on the first layer that covers the magnet.
