Here is a making of video I made :

I made it years ago and initially didn't plan to share the stls, but eventually I changed my mind. Note that I made some fixes to the models since then, like tickers wing attachments.

I didn't own a 3D printer back then so I ordered a print made professionaly. I don't know how it will print on “home” 3D printer, but I guess it's a tough print, not for beginners. Maybe scale it up a bit (beware of scaling both the dragon and the base at the same proportions).

It works well on 3 points tensegrity, but it can be changed to 4 point tensegrity if you want more stability. There is a tiny hole on one of the back ridge scales that can be attached to the tree underneath on the base.

On current scale, here are the approximate length of the strings to attach :
- Skull string : 80mm
- Hourglass string : 80mm
- Top tree string : 37mm
- Back string (optionnal) : 47mm

Those lengths are a basis, but depending on the elasticity and type of string you use, it will require adjustments by trial and error.

I used sewing thread, but I think any kind of string can be used as long as it's not too thick. Transparent nylon thread should give a good result.
