I designed this to replace a removable 34 ¾" x 17 ¼" basement window in my creation room. I have included the model files so that it can be adapted to windows of any size.
This has two 1/8" slots for the glass/plexiglass to slide into. We get both weather extremes here, so I used double pane, but single pane using only one of the slots would work as well if not concerned with outside temperatures.
It uses a standard 4" dryer hose and is also designed to accept the 110mm computer case fans if desired.
For the published sized window, I cut the plexiglass to 27 ½" x 15"
The included InnerVentAdapter was designed for my Centauri Carbon, so may need to be replaced or adapted to fit your specific printer.
No supports should be needing for printing. The only troublesome parts were TopRight & BottomRight. I added very thin braces near the top of the printed objects which solved the issue on my Centauri Carbon.
Additional parts that may be needed depending on your adaptation:
- 1/8" Glass or plexiglass cut to size
- 4" Dryer Vent Hose
- 110mm Case Fan(s)
- Misc. Screws for attaching vents/fans
- The handle from the old window
