These are replacement/extension links for the Elegoo Centauri Carbon cable chain. I modeled them based on the original chain to help fix the tight bend radius at the toolhead.
A lot of people on Reddit and Discord have noticed that the stock chain is just a bit too short, causing the cable to bend sharply at the toolhead and, in some cases, this has already led to cable failures and arcing inside the strain relief.
These links go inline with your OEM chain to extend it slightly. Print as many as you want, but adding three links seems to give a much better bend radius without overextending the chain.
Print Settings:
- PETG/ASA/ABS (anything that will withstand the higher temps of an enclosed chamber)
- 0.2mm layer height (or smaller)
- May need brim or support depending on your printer (I needed a brim, but not supports)
