I modeled this a year and a half ago with a ruler and less than half of Learn Fusion 360 in 30 Days completed (shoutout). I apologize for the fact that only some of the bodies and sketches are in the component, as I didn't yet know that you had to activate components again upon resuming work at a later date. Cooked feature tree aside, I used very few join and/or union features in the modeling process, so you can remove parts of it if you don't want them or combine them all if they are bothering you.
PERSONALIZATION:
- Create a sketch and/or import an SVG on the flat bottom face. The curvature of the adjacent faces is irrelevant and you SHOULD count them as usable space when sizing your design. If it's on the bottom and it isn't a screw hole, the recessed brim, or the silicone foot holder, it's fair game.
- Choose regions of the sketch/SVG that you want to stand out from one another. Assign a depth to each region. Certain elements near the inside of your design can become more pronounced by making their surroundings more recessed, and elements in the background or at the very edge of the design can be even more recessed to make the design pop more in general.
- Emboss the sketch regions (once for each depth group) into whichever bottom faces they touch. I recommend 3 layers of depth: 0, 0.2, and 0.4mm. This way, the cover still has a thickness of 0.6mm (at the bottom-most face). Smaller layer heights are recommended for more granular amounts of depth. Going past 0.4mm both makes the part weaker and the filament less opaque (darker color = harder to distinguish between layers of depth + black battery inside).
- Make sure whatever you do that there is at least 1, preferably 2 layers of material between the deepest part of the design and the inside of the battery cover.
This is only meant to provide a replica of the part. TI designed it; I only copied it onto my computer so I could modify it for my own personal use and I hope you do the same. I don't think TI would be happy with anyone selling TI's design so no doing that. Kthxbye
