Borderlands Ripper Blade

This is just a fun project inspired by @borderlands Ripper Mask and to tinker with some modeling programs. Designed around this only pic so details vary and I may add more down the road. I've had no time to paint but fits together as intended.

Most pieces printed easy enough but I'll throw some notes below. Dry fit everything as parts are tight and be careful if you scale anything as it may throw off other connections.

I designed this to fit 3- 5mm LEDs in the blade, wiring thru the spine and into the handle with space for a power source. Originally planned to be 2 "D" batteries in the handle that would also add weight but I have not tested any of that or fit yet. Down the road I will probably use “C” size and design a quick sleeve for the batteries and connections so I don't have to resize the handle much.

There are 2 versions of the handle cap, spiked and basic. Don't forget to throw some fuzzy skin on the cap and/or handle for extra grip. 

There are 2 versions of the Blade. V2 is a tad bigger and more aggressive profile.

Everything was printed 0.16 in PLA except for the blade which was a translucent PETG I had on hand.

Included 3 sizes of accent screw pieces that can be glued on wherever you like.

Can attach some extra wire, loom, or tubing on the back for more details.

Print Notes:

Blade was printed with lightning infill @ 20% and concentric surfaces for fun effect. 

Inner Spine was printed standing up with supports only on the first two blade connections.

Handle printed upside down with supports in the spine connection, used a pen to poke it out thru the hole in the handle and popped right out.
