This keyring holder was created in the shape of a climbing nut and fits the "Mountain Style Key Holder" model (https://www.printables.com/model/1436279-mountain-style-key-holder-for-yyvertical-keyring-s).
For assembly, you will also need string, a piece of TPU filament, and superglue or epoxy glue.
- String: Print two clips for each nut. Then place the two clips flat-side up and drip a little superglue into the recesses. Now you need to form two loops: a smaller one and a larger one. Thread the nut, wide side up, into the larger loop. Now place the two ends of the strings butting into one of the recesses. The parallel piece of string goes into the other recess. Press both firmly until the glue hardens. Then place the other side of the clip on top and glue it in place. Once the glue has fully cured, check the connection thoroughly!
- TPU filament: Form a circle with the piece of filament and thread the nut through with the wide side facing up. Heat the ends (e.g., with a lighter) and press them together. Blow on the connection so it cools down faster and sticks together. Then place the two clamps with the flat side facing up and drip a little superglue into the recesses. Now you need to form two loops: a smaller one and a larger one. Place the two connected ends of the filament into one of the recesses. The parallel piece of filament goes into the other recess. Press both firmly until the glue hardens. Then place the other side of the clamp on top and glue it in place. Once the glue has fully cured, check the connection thoroughly!
