after many failed prints of trying to make my original proyo axles design l've decided to make a new one that's easier and smoother to make than the original.
introducing my new axle design, the 3 piece axle. the axle is made of 3 new pieces, the sides and middle.
l've made different version of the side pieces because during testing l found it to be a little slippery and not responsive enough so l've made ones with holes and reverse starburst to help improve grip. the one with the reverse starburst plays best during my test.
(all tests where performed with PLA printed axles)
axles should be glued together, l glued mine with model glue (plastic cement) which works really well on pla printed things.
