I played a lot of the game Orchard while on vacation recently. I love the game and actually like the packaging, but I kept having problems with dropping dice when I was trying to load/unload the box. Also didn't like it when a card would stick in the box.
I made this insert to make it easier to load/unload the box and be ready to play right away. It slides into the interior box cleanly, holds everything together. Also, if you shuffle the cards with the instructions after the 9'th card and load the insert with the 6's up (4's up for Grove), when you open the box, the dice are all facing with the 1's up, and you're ready to play your first two games.
I made sure it works with all three games, Orchard, Grove, and Forage.
The second model is a replacement marker I made to replace a “bad apple” token I lost, it also fits in the insert, and I suppose you could print it in any color to replace any of the other game tokens.
Everything printed fine without supports. I think I printed at 0.16mm layer height, so that the floor under the dice was a few layers thick.
