Must be inserted as shown in the photographs, with the rounded protrusion facing the top of. Flute pitch is slightly shifted, but this cannot be avoided as far as I know.
I have printed it in ABS, with 0.1mm layer height and 100% infill. It works great with Hohner Melody 9508 Soprano C model.
