Color changes:
Swap filament at 3.2 mm and 4.6 mm.
Printer and materials
- Tested on Ender 3
- 0.4 mm nozzle, PLA works great
- Layer height: 0.20 mm
- Infill: 10–15 percent
- Perimeters: 3
- Top/Bottom: 4–5 layers
- No supports, no brim needed for a well-tuned bed
- Slicer notes
- Use your slicer’s color change feature at 3.2 mm and 4.6 mm
- PrusaSlicer: Add “Color change (M600)” at those heights
Assembly
- Print any length of chain from the linked file above
- Clip the chain through the badge loop and you’re good to go
- If corners want to lift, add a 2–3 mm brim or bump bed temp a couple degrees
Dimensions
Fits the HEX 50x30 chain geometry. Overall badge width ~250 mm at default scale. Scale uniformly with the links if you need a different size.
