I find that every time I get a new pool skimmer basket, the handle is the first thing to break. So, I modeled a printable handle for the basket, in case it breaks again.
STEP file included, in case you need to adjust dimensions for your needs.
The hinge is offset slightly from center, so it will print flat nicely. I used PETG for flexibility, and 0.30 layers seemed plenty detailed for a functional part that you'll mostly never look at. Enable supports for the hinges.
Photo shows an earlier version without the tab at the top of the handle, which allows the handle to rest on the rim of the basket, and not swivel all the way down.
