Celtic knot 1st pattern for embroidery

I like wearing linen shirts. I like sewing them by myself. But without finishing they are boring. My wife promised me finishing them if I choose the pattern.
So I came up with this idea: I make pattern and… and my beloved wife will embroider these patterns for me on my shirts. This pattern is inspired by celtic knot pattern which I like most then others. This is how three elements were created: straight pattern with decoration elements, near neck finishing and neck slit finishing.

This model is completed but not finished work. It's only the key element to do satisfying work.

How to use this pattern? Think how do you like your shirt look like and design the appearance of the entire pattern. Place the pattern element on the shirt and trace the pattern with a pencil or pen. You can combine elements by lying them in almost any position and use them with your own knot design. Elements are fits, each one to other.

How to stitch? It is up to you, but my wife prefers one solution. It's simple chain stitch embroidery.

And it's not only one pattern but I add next when it will be finished. So keep finger crossed for perfect and satisfying stitching.
