I may have overengineered this moving mechanism. The idea was to create ripples on a hexagonal “fabric,” but in motion it ended up looking more like it’s breathing — which I actually like.
This is the first iteration, originally made for the “Fabric” challenge, but I ran out of time before I could finish it properly. All parts should be printable without supports, though I recommend using brims on the four inner hexagonal pieces for better adhesion.
