EDIT 28.02.26: added newer version with geometry of this model (first photo): https://www.printables.com/model/1601207-centauri-carbon-multicolor-fix
I don't do multicolor prints (so I didn't test layer shift), but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work with my remix if it works with original. It can be sticky at first, you can speed up "braking in" by manual re-inserts or with deburring tool at the edges of triangle. Thank you, clogged_nozzl3!
At first I tried model on this link (thanks for general idea, Keith): https://www.printables.com/model/1430426-toolless-filament-cutter-for-centauri-carbon
After detaching that little piece and removing exclusion zone from printer profile I started 25x25 print and very soon heard sound of collision - it turned out that tongue of filament cutter jammed into bigger part of that model. After that I decided to make my model from scratch in Tinkercad but in under-engineered style - extremely simple but working. I already installed this model on printer and there is near 1mm gap between base part with screw and cutter tongue in dead end front right position, so no more collisions after removing exclusion zone entirely in printer profile
