Hello everyone! ✋
I was looking for a way to make use of the space on my Prusa Core One and at the same time find a place to store removable print sheets for the 3D printer, but I couldn’t find any minimalist models that would truly match the printer’s design. So, I came up with my own 💎 design, inspired both by the Printables logo and by the look of the Core One itself.
I have included two types of files — one set already has pre-made holes for magnets sized 20 × 10 × 1 mm (up to 20 × 10 × 5 mm), and the other has no holes (as requested I added folder also with STEP file).
The parts without pre-made holes can easily be modified in your slicer, allowing you to add custom hole sizes for the magnets you have on hand or available.
For bottom magnets, I recommend making the holes 0.2 mm larger, and for side magnets, I recommend 0.2 mm for vertical edges and 0.6 mm for horizontal edges (for better bridging).
Custom magnets can have a depth greater than 1 mm — you can go up to about 5 mm or even slightly more.
