Often props/cosplay needs the odd nut and bolt to look realistic but many cons do not permit metallic props for safety reasons (plus who wants to lug all the weight). But most folks don't want to cast resin nuts/bolts from the original. So I took real nut/bolt CAD models (From McMaster) of 9/16" bolts (for metric folks figure around a M13/M14?) anyway then I split the shaft of the bolt and removed it. I put a 5.2mm (fits nicely in a M6 hole) on the back. Now you might want to flat glue them (easy enough in the slicer to simply drop the nut/bolt to the bed cutting off the post if you want to print them flat (I printed them on a resin printer which you basically always use supports anyway). You can see in the photos the versions 1-5 (otherwise all the bolts look exactly the same which would be weird, they would all be slightly differently tightened in the real world, if you need them all identical like robot assembled, well just use the same one multiple times). As always I included the STEP files (very meta since these models are originally STEP files from McMaster)
There are 9/16" and M6 versions. The M6 doesn't have all the variation since they are smaller and it is less obvious. All sizes mount in a 5.2mm (M5 Clearance) hole since they are purely for appearance, a little CA glue to hold them in and voila. There is a painting stand that holds 8 of those (essentially a block with 8 M5 clearance holes to stick them on to paint as SLA supports tend to crack), I printed mine in PETG, but it's irrelevant.
