This 3D printable rack mount module is designed to fit into a standard half-rack (1U/2U) enclosure, optimized to securely hold two Raspberry Pi 5 boards. The design includes:
Dual Raspberry Pi 5 slots (or compatible): Precisely spaced to accommodate the dimensions and port layout of the Raspberry Pi 5, ensuring unobstructed access to GPIO pins & has more rooms for hats.
Ventilation: Cutouts placed around each Pi for optimal airflow and heat dissipation.
Mounting compatibility: Includes standard half-rack mounting holes, allowing the module to be easily screwed into existing rack rails. Includes mounting holes for the raspberry PIs,
Cable management: Integrated cutouts for routing of power cables.
Optional fan mount: Space for small 40mm fans for active cooling.
Material considerations: Designed for 3D printing with PETG, or ABS, with tolerances suitable for snug component fit without stress. More heat tolerable material is recommended. Supports are required.
