Universal Can Crusher

This can crusher works on all standard diameter cans, designed for up to 500ml, with locating rings for smaller 250ml cans too. I designed this model after using some others that exist on here already but found the performance underwhelming and had alot of wasted material.

Robust design takes up a total of about 350 grams of filament

How to use:

• slightly crush can before putting in crusher to help initial crush
• put can in and crush with plunger until plunger stops
• unscrew base and pop can out the bottom with the plunger

Print Settings:

• 0.28mm layer height, 0.2 is fine too but tolerances still work with 0.28 and it is faster
• I recommend PETG Filament as PLA or ABS may be too brittle
• 3 walls
• 4.4mm thick base layer
• Should have no infill throughout the design for maximum strength
• I have designed everything with a 0.2mm tolerance to give a smooth but tight fit. if you know your printer struggles with this try shrinking the plunger slightly in your slicer
