The Eagle5 microswitch paddle. You're cheaper than I am, and you don't care if the paddle is a little crude as long as it's reliable. Well, maybe this one's for you. You'll have less than $2 in this one, and it's easy.
A little “clicky” when you start sending with it, but you get use to it in a few minutes. Little clicks let you “feel” the code just like luke skywalker. But hey, this thing is cheap, there's no adjusting anything, very little soldering. I think it will be a SOTA staple. Maybe a bigger version is in the future. Let's see how it goes.
What, you don't like how it feels? Just bathe in simplicity for once. Does it get the job done? I have not tested this wet, and as usual, you're on your own. No guarantees, no warranties, I didn't tell you you had to build this. You have a picture, and there is no manual. Build and use at your own risk.
Print 2 halves for the case. It kinda snaps, but a little super glue and a good squeeze - Hey! DID I SAY TEST IT FIRST?
