Elegoo Centauri Carbon Tapo C110/C100/TC60 Camera Mount

The camera holder attached to the Centauri carbon glass door using the two screws on the top hinge. The housing is designed to reuse these screws so that no extra hardware is required.

There are two versions of this model, a clean version and a regular version.

Regular version
Simply slide the camera in the housing and it locks in with a small retaining tab on the top surface.

Clean version
This requires the camera stand to be removed for a cleaner installation, instructions as follows:

• Use a small phillips head screwdriver (the one that comes with the printer works well) to remove the two small silver screws at the base
• Pry off the base of the stand
• Pull out the rubber screw hole cover on the camera arm
• Remove the black phillips head screw inside to detach the arm
• Slide the camera into the housing and reuse the black screw to lock the camera in place

For the camera to work effectively, the video mode needs to be switched from ‘Auto’ to ‘Day Mode’ in the Tapo app. This is because the infrared light that is switched on when it is dark glares on the glass dor of the Centauri Carbon. This does mean the printer light should be switched on to see anything with the camera. I recommend getting Open Centauri which allows some gcode to be used that automatically switches the printer light on at the start of a print and off when it is finished.

Recommended print instructions:
- I used 0.2mm layer height with the standard 0.4mm nozzle
- I changed the walls printing order to Outer/Inner due to tight tolerances
- Auto tree supports on build plate only
