This model turns an unused mortise for a past doorhinge into a utility clip which can hold shallow household items which is especially useful in small apartments with limited storage. In this case, this was perfect for a mop that would often fall when left leaning against the wall.
In terms of printing, this was printed on a MK4S, I would recommend printing it vertically as it will be used so as to have the layer lines horizontal for greater strength. It was printed in PLA at .25 mm layer height.
The extra space between the mounting part of the hinge and the clip is to allow clearance for the mop head from the doorframe when clipped into place, this can be adjusted to your liking. I have used the space to insert a slot for holding small cleaning cloths in this instance.
