Plate Handle – Qidi Q2
A practical handle designed to make removing the build plate from your Qidi Q2 printer easier and more comfortable.
It improves grip and convenience, while also helping to reduce heat transfer when the plate is still hot after printing.
Model Versions
Two versions of the handle are available:
Standard version – with the “Qidi Q2” text on the front,
Clear version – without text, for a clean and minimal look.
⚙ Installation
Press the plate into the main opening (the thicker part goes at the bottom).
Secure the handle using two M2x8 screws through the mounting holes.
💡 Tip:
If the screws are difficult to insert, you can:
slightly open up the holes with a heated wire, or
screw in a heated screw to help the plastic form threads.
🧱 Recommended Material
ABS or ASA – for better heat resistance and durability.
📐 Additional Info
The model fits the original Qidi Q2 build plate.
No supports or special print settings are required – recommended layer height: 0.2 mm.
